Nemco releases new CGT series, consumer grade tantalum chips in case sizes 0402 and 0603. Consumer grade devices utilize proven tantalum technology. Voltage derating occurs at 40 degrees celsius compared to 85 degrees celsius on all other types. The CGT series is suitable for a wide range of consumer electronic applications including hand-held electronics, cell phones and other digital equipment. CGT series is lead-free and RoHS compliant. The MCT series is recommended for applications that require higher reliability such as medical, power supply, motor control & security.
